Haze has become one of the hot topics in current social discussions, among which the impact of fuel vehicle exhaust emissions is difficult to ignore. The promotion of new energy vehicles is imperative. At the 2014 NPC and CPPCC sessions, new energy vehicles will also become the focus of the automotive industry.
On February 8th this year, four ministries and commissions jointly issued the “Notice on Further Improving the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles” to increase support for new energy vehicles. Electric vehicles with mature technology have received more enthusiastic attention. Earlier this year, the representative of domestic new energy vehicles, BYD, was inspected by several central leaders. In early January 2014, Vice Premier Ma Kai inspected BYD. On the 27th, Premier Li Keqiang went to Xi’an BYD Automobile Company to learn about the research and development of pure electric vehicles. On the eve of the two sessions, the attention of NPC delegates to electric vehicles has not diminished.
Cai Jiming, a representative of the National People’s Congress and a professor at Tsinghua University, suggested that the development of electric vehicles should follow the path of “low cost, separation of vehicles and electricity, and high cost performance.” Research and development should be carried out in response to public demand. The naked vehicle price of electric vehicles should not exceed the price of fuel vehicles, and the operating cost of 100 kilometers must be lower than that of fuel vehicles, so that electric vehicles can gradually become a powerful complement to fuel vehicles.
Zhang Tianren, a deputy to the National People’s Congress and chairman of Tianneng Group, believes that low speed and short range electric vehicles have a light body, low power consumption, small batteries, and low price lead-acid batteries, which have a high cost performance ratio, and have a huge market demand among low and middle-income groups. Therefore, giving priority to the development of low speed and short range electric vehicles not only conforms to the situation, but also adheres to the market.
Yang Yusheng, an academician of the CAE Member, believes that there are many cases of high-end pure electric vehicles wasting energy and having poor sales. Tesla, for example, has a high price, consuming between 15 and 18 degrees of electricity per 100 kilometers, which is equivalent to burning 5.5 to 6.5 kilograms of standard coal, and emitting 7.5 to 9 liters of carbon dioxide. Overall, pollution has moved to a place and moved to a power plant.
The entry of Tesla into China in the United States has also triggered heated discussions among industry insiders, with Xinyuan vehicles represented by electric vehicles becoming a hot topic of discussion. At the same time, from the International Consumer Electronics Exhibition at the beginning of the year to the recent MWC, major automotive manufacturers, chip giants, and communication companies scrambled to enter the automotive electronics market, which was once hot. Keywords such as the Internet of Vehicles, on-board systems, ADAS, intelligent vehicles, and unmanned driving frequently appear in major media news reports. OFweek Electronic Engineering Network has also launched the topic “Imagine the Future of Automobile and Talk about Automobile Electronics”.https://store.stoneitech.com/
