CGM is a mobile device for diabetes patients. It inserts a micro sensor under the skin to test the blood sugar level all day long. However, this is not a perfect solution – at least not at present. The main obstacle of CGM technical solution is always the combination of size, weight and power (SWaP). After all, CGM is a portable vital sign monitoring (VSM) device, which is usually worn on the arm or stomach of diabetes patients. However, because it needs to maintain power supply to collect data, it is difficult to design it to work normally without affecting the size of the wearer.
